The A39 road closure which was due to take place from Monday 16th to Friday 20th May between Porlock and Minehead, on the hill at Venniford (the narrow section between the Wootton Courtenay junctions) have been temporarily postponed. The road leading out of Wootton Courtenay towards Cowbridge Sawmill will be closed through the village on June 14th due to Wessex Water connecting The Creekes to the mains supply. Hope this doesn't make us really unpopular! We'll let you know if there's any change to this date. John and Jo Brady
