The Regal this Summer

Summer at the Regal starts with a party…

3.00pm on Sunday 5th June

Put on your party clothes because you are invited to Marty MacDonald’s Farm for…Pongo’s Party, a family show particularly suitable for 2 – 7-year-olds. Featuring the voices of Justin Fletcher and Nicole Davis from CBeebies as Pongo the Pig and Molly Moo the Cow. Come dressed in your best party clothes and help make Pongo’s Party a day to remember, play in a huge children’s band and take part in the town’s biggest ever game of pass the parcel! Songs will include The Wheels On The Bus, Pat-A-Cake, I Am The Music Man, Old MacDonald Had A Farm and many more. Please note, Justin and Nicole do not appear in person.

Tuesday 7th June at 7.30pm

Regal Film Society is pleased to bring you The County, directed by Grímur Hákonarson.
This rousing film from the director of Rams is set in Iceland and tells the story of a woman who leads her dairy farming community in a rebellion against the corruption of the local co-op. Subtitled.

Sunday 19th June at 2.00pm

Come and explore the importance, power and vulnerability of the sea through songs, sights and stories. Tidal Tails Stars and Sails features local sea shanties, ancient world music, and historical sea farers from all over the world. Suitable for all ages, recommended for five years plus.

Music for Ukraine – Friday, 24th June 2022 – 7:30pm

A great chance to enjoy live music, while supporting the people of Ukraine. Featuring local bands Jessie & the Skunknecks, The Understairs, acoustic band Samphire, plus Mark Davis from South Wales playing original material. All artists have kindly donated their time. All proceeds donated to DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
