Thinking Allowed

Monday 12th September, 6.30 for 7pm

This is a reminder of the ‘Thinking Allowed’ (TA) meeting on Monday in the Villagers’ Stores. Discussion begins at 7.00 and finishes at 8.00pm. The bar is open from 6.30pm. The topic is ‘What does it mean to be a human being?’ We will be exploring what helps us flourish as human beings and what diminishes our humanity. Brief notes can be found if you click on the link below. The notes do not dictate the direction of the discussion but they are meant to open up the topic.

As a mark of respect to our late Queen Elizabeth II, we shall have a minute’s silence before the session begins. The subject seems particularly appropriate at this time as the Queen frequently reminded us as a nation of the need to keep in touch with our humanity.

All are welcome.
