Simon Brown, from Wootten Courtenay, will be giving an illustrated talk to the St Petrock’s History Group next Monday, 9th November, at 7.00pm.
Titled ‘Let’s go to the Seaside’, Simon’s talk will recount the heyday of railway travel in West Somerset and North Devon and explore the impact the railways had on Minehead, Lynton, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple. Light refreshments are provided.
