We’re exploring the idea of hosting our 2nd Special New Year’s Eve party at the village hall on Thursday 31st December — an evening of good company, music, laughter and a little festive sparkle! Whether you’d love a dance, a catch-up with friends, a glass of something bubbly or simply a chance to celebrate with your neighbours, we’d love to make it an evening for everyone to enjoy. Imagine an evening featuring: Festive drinks and a cheerful atmosphere * Music to enjoy, with a chance to dance if the mood takes you * A chance to catch up with old friends and meet new ones * A special village countdown to welcome in 2027!
We’re hoping to create a friendly, welcoming evening for all ages — no need to travel into town, book an expensive night out or worry about getting home afterwards. Would you be interested in joining us?
Before we make any arrangements, we’d love to hear from you. To make the event viable, we’d ideally need at least 70 people interested in coming. This is just an initial expression of interest, so there’s no commitment at this stage. If there’s enough enthusiasm, we’ll share the details, including ticket price, timings and what’s planned for the evening. Let’s see if we can bring the village together, celebrate in style and start 2027 with a smile! Wouldn’t it be lovely to see the New Year in together?
